Wycombe Connection Housing Project offers accommodation and support to single people over 18 years who are currently under the supervision of the National Probation Service. Six flats are available.
WYCOMBE CONNECTION HOUSING PROJECT
- Listens to what you want
- Is friendly, organised and reliable
- Tells you your rights
- Helps you put your decisions into practice
- Doesn't do everything for you
How can I get help through the Project?
You need to be referred by your Probation Officer.
You may also contact us directly if you prefer. See below.
What happens once I'm referred?
Step One
You'll meet with a caseworker within two weeks.
You'll discuss whether you are ready to live independently and what support you need. This will be agreed between the two of you.
Step Two
You must commit yourself to this support and use it constructively. It will be a condition of your tenancy that you receive support from Connection.
Step Three
You may have to wait some time before you are housed.
Connection may be able to support you during the wait.
Step Four
When it becomes available, accommodation is provided by Paradigm Housing Association on a short tenancy of between six to 18 months.
What happens at the end of the tenancy?
Your accommodation is an Assured Shorthold Tenancy, which is renewable every six months and could last up to 18 months.
If everything goes well, you'll be put forward for permanent "move on" accommodation. Your caseworker will help you with this.
