Support for people who have serious housing problems and who also have problems with drugs or alcohol. The aim of the project is to work with you to achieve a stable living environment and support you with reducing substance misuse and relapse prevention. We will listen to your needs and develop a flexible support plan for you. We will also liaise with other agencies for provide you with the best service we possibly can.
How can I access the service?
You must:
- Live in Oxfordshire
- Or be returning to Oxfordshire from a drug rehabilitation centre or prison programme
- Have an Oxfordshire GP
Referral is preferably through someone like a drug worker, probation officer or GP.

In return for support, we expect you to:
- Be committed to our help
- Have regular reviews
- Keep regular appointments with your DISH caseworker
- Make good use of the support we provide
DISH Rent Deposit Scheme
Provides access to Private Rented Sector housing and support for people involved in the criminal justice system after residential treatment and/or prison.
It works in partnership with Oxford City Councils Home Choice Scheme.
The essential criteria is that the person must be a DIP (Drug Intervention Programme) client.
How do I access the scheme?
Referrals for the DISH Rent Deposit Scheme must come from either the Substance Misuse Team at Probation, Albion House or alternatively your SMART worker can refer you. Connection are unable to accept referrals from any other source for this scheme.
